Make a Crunchy Scotch Egg



Scotch Egg

Ingredients:
v 250g sugar
v 4 hard-boiled eggs
v 1 tsp HP Sauce
v Seasoned flour
v Dried Breadcrumbs
v Oil for frying
v White Pepper and salt

Directions:
1.    Season sausage with the HP sauce, white pepper, salt and divide into 4 portions.
2.    Coat each egg with sausage meat and very little flour if meat is sticking to the hands.
3.    Coat each covered egg with raw egg breadcrumbs.

4.    Fry in hot oil till brown and crisp allowing sufficient time for sausage meat to cook through.
