Preparation of Carrot Cake



Coconut Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups of flour
  • 2 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups of vegetable oil
  • 3 cups of grated Carrots
  • 1 cups of desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
Directions:

  1. sift flour and other dry ingredients
  2. mix oil and sugar in a bowl
  3. beat the eggs and pour into mixing bowl
  4. fold in the dry ingrdients
  5. fold in the grated carrots
  6. add flavour s desired
  7. pour into a prepared pan and bake for and hour or less
