Magnet wire / winding wire is an insulated copper or aluminum electrical conductor used in motors, transformers and other electromagnetic equipment. When wound into a coil and energized, magnet wire creates an electromagnetic field.
Magnet wire plays a critical role in three areas of energy transformation: electrical to electrical, electrical to mechanical, and mechanical to electrical.
Electrical to electrical transformation involves transformers, which are used to transfer power. Transformers are used for power generation by utility companies, for power voltage conversion, and in electrical controls in industrial and home uses.
Electrical to mechanical transfer is necessary for motorized appliances, automobiles, industrial machinery, and residential and commercial HVAC systems. Magnet wire is a key component in each of these applications.
Mechanical to electrical transformation occurs when machine power is converted into electricity. This type of transformation includes generators, which turn mechanical power into electrical energy through the use of magnet wire.
Besides its uses in energy transformation, magnet wire is vital to a wide range of communications applications. Magnet wire is used in coils in products such as computers, telephones, cell phones, video games and televisions.


So we can use this for our own good and save so much spending on electricity bills

Preparation of Fruit Cake




wow i have never tasted this before, but mainly looking at it sparkling and delicious face, it will be so Tasty and yummy.

so let us make our very own Fruit Cake


Delicious Fruit Cake

Ingredients:

  • 500g butter
  • 300g sugar
  • 600h flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/8 tsp Cinnamon, ground
  • Mixed fruits or Raisins, as desired
  • Browning
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence

Directions:

  1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  2. sift flour and other dry ingredients
  3. beat eggs till light and fluffy
  4. put eggs into butter mixture alternating with the dry ingredients.
  5. pour in the fruits, browning and your flavour
  6. pour into an 8 inch pan and bake in a pre-heated oven.

Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
v 1 1/3 cups of flour
v 2 eggs
v 3 tbsp butter
v 1 ½ cups sugar
v 2 tsp baking powder
v ¼ tsp baking soda
v ¾ cups cocoa powder
v 1/8 tsp salt
v ¾ tsp vanilla essence
v 1 cup of milk

Directions:
Note:         that chocolate cake are very delicate, hence, avoid shaking the oven or opening the oven until the cake smells baked.
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
Mix butter and sugar to be as light as possible in a different bowl.
Add one egg at a time, beat well before adding.
Stir in vanilla or flavour of your choice.
Put in the dry ingredients alternating with milk.
Turn into a well-greased pan and bake.

Preparation of Butter Cake


I have always wanted to know how to prepare a cake, like the practical i had back in school on how to produce a Delicious Chin Chin, which i clearly know now and can do over and over again.

How we are to know this now, its very good to know this and also try it at home often times.


Butter Cake

Ingredients:
v 500g butter
v 300g sugar
v 500g flour
v 10 eggs
v ½ Nutmeg seed, grated
v 1 tsp vanilla
v 2 tbsp baking powder
v Fruits (optional)

Directions:
1.    Grease your pans

2.    Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy

3.    Beat eggs till light and fluffy

4.    Sift all dry ingredients together.

5.    Pour beaten eggs gradually into butter mixture, alternating with flour and beating well after each addition. Remember, folding in is the process used for putting flour and other dry ingredients.

6.    Put in your desired flavor or essence.

7.    Pour into your 8 or 9 inch pan and bake in a moderately preheated oven for about one hour.

Your cake is ready to serve.
Try this at home anytime any day.

Plain Sponge Cake

This is just amazing cake to look at, so yummy and sweet to eat. It looks so hard to make but is very much easy to prepare right in your kitchen.

just get the proper materials and right ingredients to use and you are good to go. i so much like this.


Plain Sponge Cake

Ingredients:
v ½ cup of sugar
v ½ cup of flour
v 3 large eggs
v ½ tsp vanilla
v 3 tbsp clarified butter (very optional)

Directions:
N/B:          this cake should be baked in an 8 inch sandwich pan. It is beautiful and delicious when sandwich with whipped cream or jam.

For chocolate layer, use 1 cup flour + ½ cup cocoa powder.
Whisk the eggs and sugar until it is very light and fluffy over seam from a pot of boiling water for over 10 minutes with an electric mixer.

Sift the flour 3 times and fold in gently.
Add flavor as desired.
If you are adding butter, this is when to fold it in with mixture.
Pour the mixture into your prepared greased and floured pans and bake with moderate heat.
Bake until it is lightly golden brown and not sticky when you touch the surface.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups of flour
  • 2 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups of vegetable oil
  • 3 cups of grated Carrots
  • 1 cups of desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
Directions:

  1. sift flour and other dry ingredients
  2. mix oil and sugar in a bowl
  3. beat the eggs and pour into mixing bowl
  4. fold in the dry ingrdients
  5. fold in the grated carrots
  6. add flavour s desired
  7. pour into a prepared pan and bake for and hour or less

1.    Grease an 8 inch pan
2.    Cream the butter and sugar till it is light and fluffy
3.    Sieve flavour and baking powder
4.    Add the desiccated coconut and eggs
5.    Grate in the nutmeg
6.    Add the flavour
7.    Scoop into the prepared tin and bake in a prepared heated oven
8.    Bake at 160 degrees Celsius

Basic Bread Recipes



Basic Bread Recipes

Ingredients:
v 1.5 cups warm water
v 4 tbsp yeast
v 3 tbsp sugar
v 2 tbsp vegetable oil (optional)
v 4 cups flour
v 8 inch pan
v 1 tsp salt

Directions:
1.    Stir warm water, yeast and sugar
2.    Let it stand till its frothy, 20 mins
3.    Add the     oil, salt to 2 cups of flour
4.    Mix well, then add the remaining flour ½ cup at a time
5.    Kneed on a floured surface for 8 minutes
6.    Keep in a   bowl and cover for 20mins to autolyse
7.    Knead again for about 7minutes
8.    Cover again for 1.5hours
9.    Deflate and knead gain
10.                      Prepare pan, cut dough into pan..
11.                      Leave to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour
12.                      Place in a moderately heated oven GENTLY as bread dough is very delicate

13.                      Bake at 280 degree for 1.5hours

Ingredients

  • 5 fl oz (15cl) of white wine
  • 3 1/3 fl oz (10cl) olive oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cup (250g)  all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (about 5g)
  • 5 ounces (150g) grated emmenthal or cheddar
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 1/2 ounces (100g) bacon
  • 7 ounces (200g) city ham, already cooked — sold as “ready to serve”. Still on the bone, it’s better! If you don’t want to bring back the whole ham at home, ask your butcher to slice it off for you.
  • 3 1/2 ounces (100g) black olives
  • 3 1/2 ounces (100g) green olives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

 

Directions


1. In a large bowl, whisk together the wine, oil, eggs and salt.
 
2. Separately, mix the flour and baking powder, sift and stir into the liquid preparation.
 
3. Chop the onion finely and melt in a skillet with a bit of olive oil (or butter).
 
4. Add the bacon to onions and cook for a few minutes then keep aside. Take care of draining the mixture to avoid a soggy dough.
 
5. Slice the olives and parsley and cut the ham.
 
6. Add all ingredients and grated cheese to the basic preparation and mix.
 
7. Pour into a buttered pan.
 
8. Bake in the oven for 1 hour at 360°F (180°C).

Make a Crunchy Scotch Egg



Scotch Egg

Ingredients:
v 250g sugar
v 4 hard-boiled eggs
v 1 tsp HP Sauce
v Seasoned flour
v Dried Breadcrumbs
v Oil for frying
v White Pepper and salt

Directions:
1.    Season sausage with the HP sauce, white pepper, salt and divide into 4 portions.
2.    Coat each egg with sausage meat and very little flour if meat is sticking to the hands.
3.    Coat each covered egg with raw egg breadcrumbs.

4.    Fry in hot oil till brown and crisp allowing sufficient time for sausage meat to cook through.
